We chose White Lodge, Linden Drive for our first son after being recommended by a close friend. We have not regretted our decision at all as they have a nurturing environment and members of the teaching faculty are devoted to each and every child. First of all, I would like to congratulate White Lodge Early Learning Centre for stepping into their 10th year. I am a proud mother of three children who attended and are attending White Lodge at Linden Drive. My eldest is now 8 yrs old, and is attending a local school. She was in White Lodge for 2 years before leaping eagerly into primary school. She excelled in her school work and came in top. This is a chance to show my appreciation to her teachers in White Lodge, whom have spent untiring efforts on building her a strong foundation. Socially, she earned a Harmony award and was a responsible monitress. Her social confidence and leadership skill were imparted from the White Lodge days. At White Lodge, members of the staff are very passionate. They produce their works with ultimate efforts, making sure children learn and enjoy every topic in the term. You can see how every child is being pampered by their teachers. My kids are showered in hugs and kisses every day in the school. There is no full-stop when it comes to improvising new activities and events for the children and families. White Lodge has so far successfully run UN Days for many years, year-end concerts, sleepover in the school, cookery sessions at Avondale, and ever so popular Football Challenge at Avondale too. This year, we feasted on mooncakes under the roundest moon of the year at White Lodge Linden. My children have great memories of all these events, and always looking forward to new, exciting and varied programmes. Jayne is one of the most innovative woman I have met. She is a great visionary educator who believes strongly on providing the best for our children. There is endless enthusiasm in her, as well as her teachers and staffs. Jayne believes in her teachers, trains them and gives them every possible chance to achieve. Although busy, she does not forget about communicating with the parents and getting close with the preschoolers. I applaud everyone from White Lodge, and continue to make it a second home sweet home for us!

Congratulation on your 10th anniversary White Lodge! We have been so fortunate to have all our three children enrolled with you over the past 5 years and we are now in our 6th year. Your loving teachers, who are able to make every child feel so special, so unique are highly appreciated. The flexibility you always show towards any changes to meet our needs is fantastic. Thank you for letting our family be part of your family during our stay here in Singapore. We have nothing but wonderful memories from our years with you and that’s why we are still with you! It’s been two years since I first got my tour of White Lodge at Jalan Siap as I considered a pre-school nursery for my eldest son. What impressed me initially was the warmth I felt from each and every teacher I met during my visit and the interaction between them and Charlie, then aged 20 months. I’m very happy to say I continue to be impressed. As White Lodge is a small nursery with a high staff to pupil ratio. Charlie was reciting his alphabet and counting in double quick time, impressing friends and family and making us very proud. So I had no hesitation in sending my younger son Daniel to White Lodge when he was ready. I feel I must mention Miss Santhi as I believe she sets the tone just right. She’s great fun, is extremely warm and friendly and the children adore her. I have, and will continue to recommend White Lodge as being the provider of an excellent start in a child’s education.

“Mommy, Mommy! Look! I know this leaning tower!” said our three years old daughter excitedly when watching The Little Einstein from television and recognizing The Leaning Tower of Pisa. I as a mother of her was amazed! The European wonders must have been investigated recently at her class. This is a concrete example what challenging topics our little friends can learn in a safe environment and with good teachers. Our two daughters have been at White Lodge (Jalan Siap) since August 2007. The beginning was not an easy one. It was the first school experience for both of them and they hardly spoke any English at that time. They understood some perhaps. Now they are running to the school bus in the morning and waving good-byes happily to me. The way how the teachers handled the challenging situation in the beginning was great. They were patient, understanding and smiling. During these two years you have proved that you are professionals. Thank you for the great work you do! Keep your smiles! In addition the size of the school and small groups were some another key factors why we chose White Lodge. Our daughters have had an excellent opportunity to learn fluent English and Mandarin Chinese, meet friends all around the world, be part of the annual musicals and school performances and learn different cultures and continents. I am sure that these experiences will carry them in future! Thank You!

Our consideration to move our son Ethan to White Lodge (Jalan Siap) 2 years ago, despite the long distance of our previous place,was indeed a worthy decision that we made. The teacher’s flexibility in their approach which comes from their genuine concern for the child’s needs and respect of their individuality have allowed my son to learn and enjoy school at his own pace. The integration programme provided by the school, that consist of a well structured and a good balance of both academic and practical learning, had given my son the opportunity and rewarding experience of enhancing his social and self-help skills. As a parent, our experience is also enriching, in a sense, that we have been personally involved on our child’s early educational journey through sufficient weekly feedbacks and on-time teaching information given by the teachers, not to mention by giving us the frequent opportunity to join in any minor or major festive celebration.

White Lodge is a wonderful preschool with very personable, dedicated and caring staff. My child Manan Thareja has learnt so much and developed as a confident individual since attending this centre. It’s the extra quality care the school provides that makes it a special place. Through the staff’s guidance and structured activities I have watched the confidence grow and important social skills develop in my child that he will need, in particular, as he progress through schooling life. I realized early on that he was not only learning his ABCs and 1,2,3’s but you guys also do a tremendous job teaching social skills. How to share, how to interact with others (children and adults) etc. Also, how to be in a classroom environment and function within a structured class. The genuine affection and concern that the staff shown towards the children at the centre truly makes White Lodge a child’s “home away from home”. I know it is rare to find a pre-school with all these outstanding qualities which is why I recommend White lodge enough to friends, family and anyone who wants a wonderful caring and nurturing learning environment for their child.

I’ve been a teacher at two international schools here in Singapore. So when it came to looking at pre-schools for my son, Finn, I had some idea of what was about. I visited a few, ummed and ahhed, and then visited White Lodge at the East Coast in the days when it was located at Still Rd. The second I walked in, it felt just right. Miss Yany was talking to the children, knowing all of their names, the children were playing and laughing and having so much fun. The learning taking place was happening through play. Exactly what I was looking for. There was such a happy atmosphere in the school. Then it came to leave from this visit…my normally shy little child who hid behind my skirts, was crying because he didn’t want to leave! That was almost 3 years ago. We’ve been a member of the White Lodge family since then and now my daughter Tilly has joined too. I love White Lodge and all it stands for. There is so much love and care given to each and every child. I have seen my two blossom under their love and guidance. For Finn and Tilly going to school is such a happy experience which as a parent, you couldn’t wish for more. Happy 10th Birthday White Lodge. Here’s to many, many more!

After attending White Lodge Kindergarten East Coast for 3 years our son Sebastien left to join Eton House International School. We were anxious about the transition, but it could not have gone smoother. White Lodge completely prepared Sebastien for the steps ahead of him. We are grateful for the amazing coaching and care he received. Teachers at White Lodge are caring and knowledgeable, they obviously love what they do and the children they spend time with. You wake up one morning and you realize your little one is ready for more than you – they want more and they need more … Well, for me, the panic started, how can I give my trust and know that I am doing the right thing for my little one, my little prince. So you start hunting for the right program, you talk to other parents, you check out the different options, you debate and push the decision as much as you can cause nothing is good enough for your little one. Then one day, you take a leap of faith. Our leap of faith with White Lodge was very successful. The curriculum, the environment, the creativity the care and love it is all there. It’s an extended family and “caring” is not just a slogan. The two facilities we have been with (Loewen and South Buona Vista) have maintained the high quality of expectation – issues were never an issue, special needs were always catered for and the impossible was always possible. Miss. Azah, the school principal and all the teachers we have had, made it a unique place for my little one to grow and become his own person. Thank you and best wishes for many years to come!!

Whitelodge @ Loewen has given a positive start to schooling for my daughter. She is always happy to go to school and I am content that here, she is stimulated, and more importantly, happy and safe. It has a bright and cheerful, yet cosy environment that stimulates her curiosity and adapts to suit her developing interests. She dictates the pace of learning that proceeds in a relaxed setting. Every day, I watch her growing confidence with her peers while, at home, she takes pride in her ability to do things ‘on my own’. Invaluable growing up experience, although a little frustrating when I’m in a hurry! Her teachers come across as warm, friendly and genuinely caring. Their smiling faces and loving hands give the school its special character and they are really the school’s most important assets. One day, after school as we were walking toward the car, my daughter tripped and grazed her knee. While I picked her up and hugged her, she said through her tears ‘I want Miss Ekta to kiss my bruise’. Well, Miss Ekta must really be a very nice person! As a demanding and vigilant parent who wants the best from Whitelodge @ Loewen, I sometimes voice concerns or give candid feedback. I love the way everyone there actually listens to what I have to say and then acts on my feedback almost immediately. Good job guys, please stay that way!

As a full-time career Mum, it was of utmost importance to me that my Daughter was placed in a Kindergarten from a young age to relieve the normal guilt of leaving her with our helper. Observing Jayne’s passion and fundamental beliefs for providing an inspiring, stimulating and nurturing environment for children led me to enroll my daughter as soon as she was old enough. Tahliah joined the Playgroup class within the unique East Coast White Lodge that boasted the additional facilities of the JWT gym. She was exceptionally well loved and she thrived from the structure of the class which helped her develop her love of all things creative. At just 20 months she would come home singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star in Mandarin, or at least I assumed she was.
For me as a Mother, I would look forward to receiving the Weekly Scope to see what she had been up and I was always impressed to see how much all the children had achieved. White Lodge instills as sense of dreaming big within the children. The Portfolio’s produced by the Teachers were exceptional and the personal touch of Jayne signing off every last one demonstrated her commitment to the children’s education. I thank White Lodge for giving Tahliah such a good start in life and helping her to develop her creative, social and development skills in a warm and caring environment.
