Head of Schools (Placement for Jan 2011)
Job Description:
- Overall management of early childhood and early intervention programmes
- Recruitment, training and professional development of teachers
- Health and safety management
- Written report to Board of Management
- Pastoral care and support to students
Essential Criteria:
- Masters / Degree in early childhood field
- Formal training and work experiences in early intervention programmes
- 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
Desirable Criteria:
- Excellent written, oral communication, inter personal and organisational skills
- Able to work independently
- Strong database and information technology skills
- Able to work collaboratively and provide dynamic leadership
- Committed to on going professional growth

PRINCIPAL
The position involves:
- Running of established pre-school centres for children 6 months to 6 years old
- Overseeing and training of teachers
- Enrolment of students
- Assisting in planning the curriculum
- Organising school events
- Developing and building relationships with parents and business partners
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- 3 years of teaching experience
- 5 years of supervisory experience in a similar capacity
Desirable Criteria:
- Possess leadership qualities
- Energetic and professional educator
- Responsible and committed
- Passion and drive in wanting to make a difference
- Experience in an international pre-school setting

VICE-PRINCIPAL/LEAD TEACHER
Essential Criteria:
- Degree/Diploma in Early Childhood
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience
TEACHER ASSISTANT
Essential Criteria:
- 3-5 credits in ‘O’ Level
- Excellent written and spoken English
