Withdrawal Procedure

Parents are required to fill in a Withdrawal Form when withdrawing their child from a White Lodge Centre. One full term’s notice must be given by the first day of the current term for the deposit to be refunded. If the required notice is not given, the deposit will be forfeited. There is no exception to the rule, and White Lodge will not entertain any requests to the contrary.

Deposits, where eligible, will be processed only after the necessary administrative forms and procedures have been completed. Parents should receive the deposit two weeks after the child concludes his/her time at White Lodge.

Health & Safety:

Health Regulations
By government regulations, White Lodge centres are not permitted to accept any child suffering from a contagious infection. White Lodge strictly abides by these rulings on infectious diseases and children displaying any symptoms of the above will be sent home. This is to minimise the spread of infection among the children. A doctor’s letter will be required to certify that your child has fully recovered before he/she may return to White Lodge. It is the responsibility of parents to inform White Lodge of any changes to a child’s medical condition. Make-up programmes will not be offered for short-term sickness.

Medication
White Lodge will only administer medication with authorisation in writing from parents. All medications prescribed by doctors must be properly labelled to include the child’s name and full instructions. Please ensure that you have completed the White Lodge Registration Form and alerted the Principal/Teacher of any allergies your child may have.

Custody of Your Child & Safety
It is the responsibility of parents to decide who brings and collects your child from White Lodge. Your child will only be released at departure time to authorised adults stipulated in the Registration Form unless a written notice has been given to the teacher informing him/her of other arrangements made. When entering or leaving a White Lodge premise, please ensure that the gates are securely fastened.

Emergency Contact
If a parent cannot be contacted in the event of an illness or accident concerning the child, White Lodge will contact the child’s physician directly as stipulated in the Registration Form. In the event that the named physician cannot be reached, or in case of emergency, permission is granted for White Lodge to call a licensed physician of its choice and all medical fees will be borne by the parent.

White Lodge Kindergartens and our School of the Arts centres will not be held responsible for any accidents or mishaps during the course of the child’s attendance.
