Curriculum

White Lodge provides a child–centred learning environment that encourages active learning, involvement and discovery through a hands-on approach.  We believe a child’s role is to experience learning as an adventure in an environment that accommodates his/her learning rate.  White Lodge’s curriculum includes a Mandarin immersion programme.

White Lodge offers:

A 10 to 14 weeks school programme that runs for four terms in a year.  This will include one to two weeks of school holidays at the end of each term.  Holiday Programmes are available during term breaks.

Playgroup, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

Playgroup	1.5 years to 2.5 years
Pre-nursery	2.5 years to 3.5 years
Nursery	3.5 years to 4.5 years
Pre-kindergarten	4.5 years to 5.5 years
Kindergarten	5.5 years to 6.5 years

 

Half-day programmes are from 9.00 am – 12.15 pm
Full-day programmes are from 9.00 am – 2.15 pm
Early drop-off programmes are available from 8.00 am

White Lodge centres offer you the flexibility of having your child on a 2, 3 or 5-day placement programme.  Lessons are conducted in English and Mandarin.

 Parent and Child Programme*

The Parent and Child Programme is an interactive and engaging programme designed especially for children six months to 30 months.  Facilitators plan and conduct the lessons while parents work closely with the children throughout the 90 minutes. It is a wonderful opportunity for the young children to be introduced to basic social skills and a great way for first-time mums and those new to the country to meet.

Morning sessions are from 9.30 am - 11.00 am
Afternoon sessions are from 3.30 pm - 5.00 pm

1, 2 and 3-day programmes are available.

 

*This programme is only available in White Lodge, Loewen Gardens (Dempsey) and White Lodge, Upper Bukit Timah.
